My New Website Is Now Live!

This took way longer than I'd like to admit, but better late than never, right?

Hello friends and happy Friday - it’s time for a quick story…

Back in 2008, I bought the domain mystylepill.com—the blog I wrote for over a decade, along with christinecameron.com. Back then, if you were part of the digital self-publishing world (aka blogging), it was seen as good advice to also secure your name as a domain, even if you didn’t have immediate plans for it.

In 2017, when I re-launched my styling business, I created a separate website from my blog and called it Styled by Christine. If you’ve known me or worked with me over the years, that name probably sounds familiar. It served me really well and did exactly what I needed for a long time, but lately I started to feel this pull to bring my own name to the forefront. There’s so much I want to create and share under Christine Cameron, and it just felt like the right time to finally make it my main platform. I’m so glad I trusted that feeling—and even more glad I kept renewing the domain all these years.

That said, as someone who often falls into the 3Ps cycle (perfectionism, procrastination, and paralysis), it took me a while to actually build out the site. I’d change the design or template, get overwhelmed, and let it sit untouched for months. But eventually, I found the focus to dive back in, I chose a simple template, and kept the content and design clean and straightforward. I also restructured my offerings, which I shared in my last post, and I’m really excited about the new ways I can help people with their closets and personal style.

Thank you all, for being part of this community—I’m so excited to get back to regular programming here! Going forward, I’ll be sharing what I’m loving, wearing, and recommending, along with behind-the-scenes glimpses into my work with clients—their real style dilemmas, how we solve them, and tips you can use in your own closet. I’m also exploring new ways for us to connect, like featuring client stories, adding audio and video here and there, and more. There’s so much good stuff in the works, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
