Hello friends!
It’s the first October newsletter of the month, and you know what that means…it’s officially SWEATER WEATHAH! (For reference, please enjoy this SNL clip.)
Anyway, like many of you, I love fall and everything that comes with it. I think of the obvious things of course, like pumpkins, changing leaves, spiced drinks, crisp air, chunky knits, and also…shackets!
A shacket, for those that don’t know, is just a blend of a shirt and a jacket. They are usually heavier than just a regular cotton or flannel button down but lighter than a jacket, making them the perfect layering piece for early fall. I have more than I’d like to admit but I have found them to be such a great transitional item so I keep adding to my collection.
Shackets are typically meant to be worn oversized, so I like pairing them with leggings and a cute tee, or if I go with a wider legged jeans, then I make sure that my top is more fitted, like a bodysuit tee or tank.
Next week I am going to share all the different ways I like to style them, but for now, here is a roundup up of some of my favorite ones that are all under $150.
Row 1 (left to right): 1 | 2 | 3 | 4
Row 2: (left to right): 1 | 2 | 3 | 4
Row 3: (left to right): 1 | 2 | 3 | 4
I’m curious to know how you feel about shackets and if you have tried styling one. I have clients that love them and I have others that feel that they can’t pull them off, so I’d love to know what you think.
Thanks for being here and for your support. See you back here next week!
xo,
Christine
I love all these choices!
